HOMEWORK:

Part One: Create two duo-tones from auto image provided in class.

1. Using Levels, adjust photo colot photo (provided) contrast ranges.

2. Convert to Grayscale (Image/Mode)

3. Convert to Duotone (Image/Mode)

3. Choose colors from Pantone (keep track of it and write it down)

4. Save document

Part Two: Create two good black and white photos:

From the Image Catalog, please do the following:

1. Pick two color photos (not from the Hands collection)

2. Create a pleasing black and white photo from each of the two photos that has a great range of tonal value using the following:

• Channels
• Levels
• Dodging and burning

All four images should be saved as PSDs in digital format. We will experiment with printing them next week.
