PROBLEM: 2 1. Create a SIMPLE Tesselation Pattern using two or more anthropomorphic, biomorphic or zoomorphic forms. 2. After designing in pencil, trace and complete in pen and ink to create a "master" copy, worthy of presentation. Can be as small as 8" x 10" 3. Using this master, photocopy or scan to enlarge 2x and reduce 2x creating 5 different sizes. 4. Assemble onto ONE piece of paper 18 x 24 using principals of grid and placement. (see exhibit in outer wall) Considerations: Do not draw the grid on the final presentation, but plan in sketchbook, use light pencil or tracing paper overlay. a)types of patterns(see resources and beyond) b) May be a symmetrical, radial or asymmetrical pattern MATERIALS: pen and ink, photocopy and/or scan and printer
